Identity of the current issues related to detection and clarification of juvenile crimes in the Slovak Republic

Abstract

The study deals with theoretical and practical aspects of the fight against juvenile delinquency in the Slovak Republic, i.e. with detection and clarification (investigation) of these types of crimes, i.e. crimes committed by minors and youth. The author analyses the current situation in the field of violent crime, crime against morality, property crime, other general crime, economic crime, and environmental crime, whilst also uses and analyses criminal statistical data. One part of the study brings the results of a research (through questionnaire survey) which has been conducted in the police by the members of the Criminal Police Department of the Academy of the Police Force in Bratislava.
