O processo constituinte foi marcado por novidades como uma intensa e influente participação da sociedade civil e pela ausência de um bloco hegemônico. Daí o caráter abrangente e detalhista do texto constitucional. Mas foi esse aspecto "contraditório" do texto o que permitiu que fosse reivindicado pelos mais diferentes grupos e movimentos. E foi isso que construiu sua legitimidade e sua vitalidade.The Constitutional process was characterized by novelties such as an intense participation of the civil society and the inexistence of a hegemonic block. That's the origin of the broad and detailed character of the Constitutional text. But it was this "contradictory" aspect that allowed it to be vindicated by different groups and movements. And it was this that built its legitimacy and its vitality.
