Background and Objective: Employment rate is an important economic concern in societies. This study aimed to investigate knowledge, attitude and performance of Nano medicine graduates towards business principles. Methods: In the present descriptive cross-sectional study, Nano medicine graduates (MSc and PhD), and their knowledge, attitude and performance towards the basics of technological business, as well as their employment status were examined using a multi-choice questionnaire. Findings: The results showed that there was no significant difference between the studied universities in terms of the studied parameters. Overall, the frequencies of good knowledge, favorable attitude, and positive performance were 61.4%, 74.5%, and 32.6% among the master’s graduates and 45.6%, 52.7%, and 34.9% among doctoral graduates, respectively. The unemployment rate was 19.6% among the MSc graduates and 25% among PhD graduates. None of the MSc graduates were employees of private or public governmental sectors related to nanotechnology, and none of PhD graduates were employed in the private sector. In addition, this study showed that including a course of basics of business in nanotechnology was effective in improving the knowledge and attitude of the graduates by 40.1% and 25%, respectively. Conclusion: The results of this study showed that although the knowledge and attitudes of graduates about the basics of business in the field of Nano medicine were acceptable, their performance was not in a satisfactory level.
