Methodological approaches to forming the models of consumer behaviour of households depending on the income level of the population of the region
Abstract
The consumer behavior of households is defined by the whole complex of socio-economic and cultural-psychological factors, particularly important among which are regional factors of the population’s income formation, motives and incentives of behavior. The proposed methodological approach allows us to determine the assessment criteria and indicators characterizing the economic behavior of the families in the regional consumer market. The models of consumer behavior of households, preferences in consumption of various goods and services depending on the welfare of the families are shown on the example of the households’ income and expenses analysis in the Sverdlovsk region. The author's approach allows forecasting the consumer market trends based on the socio-economic factors forming the income level of the population of the region.
