Data on the important role of stress in the etiology and pathogenesis of psoriatic disease necessitate research on the state of patients with psycho-emotional sphere. Aim. To study the psychological characteristics of patients with psoriasis and overweight. Methods and results: personal and reactive anxiety was measured in 70 patients with psoriasis with scales of the Spielberger-Hanin and Beck's. Results. psycho-emotional state of the patients with psoriasis was characterized by increased level of depression, with the presence of anxiety, both personal and reactive nature, especially in patients with psoriasis and overweight. Conclusion. Psychosomatic approaches are needed in the management of patients with psoriasis and obesity, traditional medicinal measures and correction of psychological problems combination should be done.
