Abstract

Nos últimos 17 anos foi intensificado, pela Autoridade Fitossanitária Nacional e pelas empresas de pesticidas, o tabu da classificação toxicológica dos pesticidas com efeitos específicos na saúde humana e o das frases de risco. Já há três anos que, sem resultados positivos, se alerta para os inconvenientes deste último tabu em relação à saúde humana e ao ambiente, em virtude da muito provável ocorrência de riscos inaceitáveis dos pesticidas.During the last 17 years was intensified, by the Nacional Pesticides Authority and the pesticides industry, the pesticide designation tabu and the tabu concerning, the hazard classification of pesticides with specific effects on human health and the risk phrases. The warning about the inconvenients of the last tabu concerning the high probability of occurrence of unacceptable risk to human health was insufficient to obtain any results.
