Evolution of women’s political rights. Comparative study: Spain-Romania

Abstract

In our study we analyzed the evolution of political rights in Spain and Romania. The constitutional evolution of women’s political rights regulation is similar. Beyond the political discourse, concrete legislative measures are needed to genuinely have the equality of chances between men and women. The battle for a better representation of women continues.
