Biological invasion of phytophagous insects and spin-off for italian landscape: two cases caused by rhynchophorus ferrugineus and matsucoccus feytaudi
Abstract
Trees mark the environment, colours and structure of Italian landscapes. In the last decades they are often infested of attack by several infestions which is changing the context perception. Paper analyses the effect on the landscape caused in the palms (Phoenix canariensis) attacked by the Rhynchophorus ferrugineus and in the Pinus pinaster by Matsucoccus feytaudi Ducasse.
