O ENFRENTAMENTO DA POBREZA BRASILEIRA NOS ANOS RECENTES
Abstract
The discussion about the dynamic of poverty in the last years in Brazil. To understand this dynamic, it is important to take into account changes iii economy (mainly, in labor market). Moreover, it is necessary to take account of changes in politics (more precisely, in social policy). In spite of its fragilities, the Brazilian social policy proved to be able to placate the poverty in the last years, despite the wide and intense problems of the labor market, mainly in the second half of the 1990’s.
