About water and human health

Abstract

t is encouraging to read scientific articles related to the influence of water in health. I would like to cite some examples from our journal: relationship between Helicobacter pylori infection in contaminated water and chronic gastric diseases, relationship between Salmonellosis and unhealthy practices and acute gastrointestinal illness, and presence of E. coli in the water consumed in hospitals and schools. These articles indicate that the concepts of hygiene and sanitation have not been forgotten by researchers.
