Abstract

What meaning holds the socialist education reform, implemented by the Cárdenas admin-istration in 1943, in a wider socio–historic revision of the Mexican reality? Education history tends to isolate the object of study, when the question for the socialist education can ́t be answered without contemplating the Mexican social reality like a dialectic totality. Following the structure of a set of Russian dolls, we ́ll analyze the reform itself, in the frame of the Cárdenas administration, y last, of the Mexican Revolution.
