MOTIVY A STRATEGIE MIGRACE MUSLIMSKÉHO OBYVATELSTVA DO ČESKÉ REPUBLIKY / Motives and migration strategies of the Muslim population of the Czech Republic

Abstract

This paper focuses on the motives and strategies underlying the migration of the Muslim population into the Czech Republic and how they evaluate their life in this new territory. The article is based on an exploration and analysis of information resources, field research, and, significantly, on qualitative research. The latter involves using a biographical method to explore the reasons for migration, the host country’s position, and an assessment of the lives of Muslims living in the Czech Republic, along with factors determining the process of integration.
