ECONOMIC AND STATISTICAL ANALYSIS PROBLEMS OF THE COAL INDUSTRY IN RUSSIA

Abstract

Russian coal sector is an essential part ofthe Russian economy and energy, closely correlated with other activities. Article presents the results of the multidimensional classification of economic activities in the industrial sector based on the characteristics of profitability, condition of fixed assets and the capital-labor. Which allowed us to determine key factors of thecoal sector development. Economical andstatistical analysis of the Russian coalindustry problems and possible solutionshas been conducted.
