Avrupa Birliği’ne Üyelik Sürecinde Türk Kamu Yönetimi(The Turkish Public Administration in the Process of Adaptation to the EU)

Abstract

The aim of this study, Local administration policies of the European Union that started out with the intention of economics and common defence reasons in 1950’s, that turned into a Political Union with the Maastricht Pact in 1992 and to put forward how Turkey’s public administration, local and regional policies will be influenced by these developments as a candidate country of the union. The objective of this study is to determine some solution proposals that could be suggested in the context of basic characteristics and problems in the transformation of Turkish public administration encountered in the course of adaptation to the EU.
