Abstract

The progresses made ​​by the EU in its relations with Syria have broken down after recent events that have taken place in the Arab country. Mediterranean Agreement, whose firm had been spreading itself over time, has been paralyzed, along with other bilateral cooperation projects, until Syria can find a solution to the current conflict, beyond which passes through an exit of the current leadership and the beginning of a democratic process that allows participation of all political forces that for decades have been repressed by the dictatorial regime led by the al-Asad.
