Application of integrated Traditional Chinese and Western medicine nursing in preventive treatment of disease (中西医护理技术在“治未病”中的运用)

Abstract

Preventive treatment is the highest form of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), which can be divided into prevention of disease progression and prevention before onset of disease. There is an urgent need for refining process of clinical nursing practice and ensuring the efficacy of nursing. Emphasizing on prevention and health preservation, the TCM nursing shows a remarkable effect in preventive treatment of disease. The aim of western medicine nursing is to improve the patient satisfaction and compliance with treatment, therefore improve the physical and psychological wellbeing. A flexible combination of TCM nursing and western medicine nursing should be considered to achieve complementary advantages in preventive treatment of disease. (中医“治未病”包括两方面内容, 一为“既病防变”, 二为“未病先防”。在实际护理过程中必须细化各项护理工作, 保证护理效果。中医护理侧重于预防及保健, 优势独特, 在治未病中的护理效果显著; 西医护理注重提高患者身心舒适度和治疗配合度, 以此改善身心健康。两者在治未病应用中均有一定优势, 临床中可以灵活应用, 实现优势互补, 最大化护理效果。)
