This study explores the alignment of the music education curriculum with employment trends at Jiangxi Normal College, emphasizing the integration of professional skills and academic learning to enhance employability. The objective is to investigate and evaluate the strategies employed in the development of an employment-oriented curriculum for music education at Jiangxi Normal College. Employing a systematic review methodology, the research combines document analysis, surveys, and interviews to evaluate the curriculum’s structure, content, and efficacy in meeting pedagogical and professional needs. Results indicate that the college’s curriculum successfully integrates professional skills with academic knowledge, addressing stakeholders’ requirements and aligning with national educational standards. The discussion highlights the curriculum’s responsiveness to the evolving job market and the importance of stakeholder feedback in curriculum development. The study concludes that Jiangxi Normal College’s approach to curriculum design effectively prepares graduates for employment in music education, suggesting a model for other institutions to enhance graduate employability. This research contributes to the discourse on educational policy and curriculum development, offering insights into the strategic alignment of music education with employment trends.
