The paper presents the study data on prognostic significance of standardized INFANIB scale for the diagnosis of neuromotor abnormalities in preterm infants with extremely low and very low birth weight. In 56 preterm infants with gestational ages of 26 to 34 weeks we studied the dynamic of neuromotor development during the first year of life. The findings confirm the diagnostic and prognostic value of the use of quantitative assessment of children by INFANIB scale as a simple screening tool for neurological disorders and risk assessment of cerebral palsy.
