La mobilité, nouvelle question sociale ?
Abstract
To talk about the daily difficulties of mobility in a mobile society transformed by the democratisation of the automobile during the last 40 years and by many decades of public transport development may appear strange. This article begins therefore with the elaboration of an analytic framework of such difficulties. It then presents a number of major difficulties related to mobility issues that were able to be identified. After having presented the different avenues aiming at overcoming some of them, worked upon by social innovators in France and elsewhere, the article concludes with a presentation of six possible directions of actions.
