Investments: genesis and economic essence

Abstract

Economic essence of the category "investments", genesis of investment theories was considered in the article, the comparative analysis of existing definitions is carried out and is analysed characteristic features of investments. Value of investments at macrolevel, mesolevel and microlevel of their realization was defined.
