Research Development in Regional Economics by the Siberian Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences: Trends and Major Results

Abstract

Major achievements in basic research in the ield of regional economics by the Siberian branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences are considered. Main trends of research are shown: interregional cross-sectoral interactions, territorial organization of production, reproduction process in the region, development of methodology of solving major economic problems in Siberia on the basis of economic-mathematical models and methods allowing making numerical experiments on real economic data
