COMPARISON OF KETAMINE AND KETAMINE-XYLAZINE COMBINATION ANAESTHESIA IN THE WIID CANINES UNDER CAPTIVITY
Abstract
The effects of either ketamine or a combination of ketamine and xylazine intramuscularly on sedation, analgesia and muscle relaxations were studied in the captive wild canines. T he mixture of ketamine and xylazine was superior to ketamine alone as the combination produced in Wild canine, smooth, better analgesia, muscle relaxation and shorter recovery.
