We highlight the problem of IT-specialists teaching, for example – in “Applied Informatics”. We provide the model of the master’s (graduate degree) program in “Applied Informatics”. The model contains two alternative option of the program: option 1 “Depth-first” – “depth study of the courses”; option 2 “Depth&Breadth” – “depth and breadth study of the courses”. We highlight the knowledge areas and courses which directly related to the input requirements to enter in the master’s program. We show the classification of these disciplines within the fields of knowledge and determined the levels of Bloom’s taxonomy of educational objectives.
