The informal organization of the academic discourse generates interest from a linguistic point of view, but this side of the discourse has not been fully studied. The pragmatic dimension of the academic discourse was highlighted during the COVID-19 pandemic, when the role of science in society was emphasized and the need to present knowledge, research conducted by specialists in various fields. Academic discourse as a product can use different specialized scientific languages, depending on the field of activity. The scientific language used by academic area in presenting the acquired knowledge and information has specific features, analyzed in this article. Also, the way of organizing the scientific events and the structure of the speeches delivered during these events has not yet been submitted to the attention of researchers in the field. The academic discourse of this period is characterized by some distinctive, specific features, which we intend to identify and analyze in this article.
