The article “Prospects for the implementation of state policy in the development of inclusive tourism” is devoted to topical issues of public policy development in providing opportunities and favorable conditions for the implementation of projects of inclusive infrastructure. An inclusive tourism space has great potential for development, since more than 15% of the world’s population can be classified as inclusive tourists. The volume of development of the market of inclusive tourism is constantly increasing. Taking into account the global experience of developing “tourism for all” and analyzing statistics on the number of persons with disabilities and socially vulnerable people, the prospects for the development of the inclusive tourism market have been determined, which is especially important given its social significance. Therefore, it is advisable to analyze the prospects for creating an effective system of government management of the development of inclusive tourism. The purpose of the article is to determine the prospects for the formation of an effective system of state management of the development of inclusive tourism. Analysis of scientific research on this topic showed that, despite the relevance of the topic, the issues of building an effective system of government management of inclusive tourism still remain unexamined. The authors have not proposed an integrated approach to ensure effective public policy in shaping the conditions for the development of inclusive tourism and creating a barrier-free environment for tourist destinations. Improving mechanisms to improve the effectiveness of state policy in the field of inclusive tourism requires the development of an institutional mechanism for implementing the concepts of “tourism for all” with the definition of practical aspects of implementation in accordance with international norms and standards. Under the conditions of restricting state financing of the tourism industry, the development of inclusive tourism cannot have high efficiency, which is primarily due to the social direction of this area. It is important to formulate a strategy for training specialists for the tourism industry, who must have the skills and competencies to work with the category of tourists with special needs.
