Georg Link and his treatise on dance from 1796

Abstract

This article discusses Georg Link's Vollkommene Tanzschule, a German treatise on ballroom dancing of the 18th century, published by the Slovenian book printer Franz Joseph Jenko in Celje (1796). Some details about Link’s biography are followed by explanatory notes on the topics raised in this treatise.
