Lately we have witnessed a significant increase in the development of distance education courses which have widely spread due to the innovation in technology and to the needs of the population to enable themselves throughout their lives in a more suitable way to the dynamism of the word today. These distance education courses have reached the teacher's qualification degrees, so there are several and diversified options available in both initial and extended studies. However, many of these distance courses are offered with not enough precaution to provide a solid degree in order to allow teacher to face the challenges of this profession. One of the most important issue concerns the promotion of interaction, responsibility that future teachers cannot avoid. So, this article seeks to develop a reflection on the importance of the interaction in distance education, by taking the experience in communication two virtual rooms of Pedagogy course of UAB-UFSCar, in a discipline offered to students of the first module. We have chosen the internal e-mail as a tool of analysis because we considered it a way of communication quite widespread and very fast but at the same time private to exchange messages about different issues. With this study we could find out evidence of sociocognitive and motivational bonds aroused in situations among tutors and students that resulted in monitoring, mentoring, encouragement, charging and knowledge building.
