This article is about the culture of the ancient people and is about their social activities. Like the Sirur kings, the people of the mudukudi community also followed the non-naming tradition. the names of kings Chera, Chola and Pandya are well established in the literature but the Sirur kings' names are not mentioned in any literature. the names of the mudukudi kings are designated based on the land, profession, industry, places they belong, structure of the place, antiquity, etc. The towns where the wealthy mudukudi kings belong are known as Thanbhanayur and Panayanallur. It means that the field is rich in farming and is named Maruthunilayur. The mudukudi kings did not fight with the economically inferior group but with the Triumvirs (Vendar) peoples who were superior to them. The reason for that is the Venders asking for high tax. The war between the two took place when the kings of mudukudi refused to give the tax to Vendars who was asking for the unspecified tax. ‘Purananuru’ says that those who fought with the mudukudi kings were called by the common name of Vender. Chera, Chola and Pandyas are the ones who owe money from the Mudukudi because Vembu (Neem), Aatti and Panai are the symbolic flowers of the Chera, Chola and Pandyas. The Vendars were set on fire and destroyed mudukudi due to the denial of taxy to them. As a result, the community of the mudukudi kings was devastated. Those involved in the denial of tax to the Vendars are the mudukudi fathers, Thaiyumanavar and their followers. the subsequent battles between the kings collapsed the mudukudi community. In this society, only the denial of tax is widely spoken of while the philanthrophic tendencies of mudhukudis are not spoken widely. This makes it clear that the literary circle have not paid any attention to this community.Hence, this article decodes the chosen ideas related to the title.
