Lire sur des documents numériques à l’école : avantages et inconvénients
Abstract
This article presents a set of data from cognitive psychology studies on reading behavior induced by the presentation of texts on digital screens. Reading on a screen disrupts visual perception as well as attention, memory and ultimately understanding of digital texts. Taking these cognitive limits into account is therefore necessary in the development of new tools or teaching on digital media, especially for very young students.
