O CARÁTER PRÁXICO DA TEOLOGIA: ABORDAGEM EPISTEMOLÓGICA

Abstract

A teologia é uma atividade constitutivamente práxica. E não simplesmente na medida em que trata de uma realidade práxica; mas também e, sobretudo, pelo modo mesmo de tratá-la. De modo que a práxis será abordada, aqui, não apenas como assunto da teologia, mas como momento constitutivo e determinante do conhecimento teológico enquanto tal. Neste sentido, nossa abordagem circunscreve-se rigorosamente ao âmbito da problemática teoria-práxis. Começaremos esboçando a problemática teoria-práxis (I) para, em seguida, situarmos a discussão sobre o processo de conhecimento teológico no horizonte dessa problemática (II) e, finalmente, explicitarmos o caráter práxico da teologia (III). Ele tem a ver com o âmbito de realidade da teologia, com o desenvolvimento da atividade intelectiva, com o caráter interessado dessa atividade e com o processo de verificação e historicização da teologia. ABSTRACT: Theology is essentially a praxis activity. And not just insofar as this is a reality characterized by praxis; but also and above all, by the same way it is treated. In the way that praxis will be discussed here not only as a matter of theology, but as a constitutive and determinant moment of theological knowledge as such. In this sense, our approach is limited strictly to the scope of the theory praxis problematic. We’ll start sketching the theory-praxis problematic (I) in order to then put the discussion about the process of theological knowledge on the horizon this problematic (II) and, finally, spell out the praxis character of theology (III). It is related to the scope of the reality of theology, with the development of reflective activity,with the character concerned this activity and with the verification process and the historicity of theology.
