Reforma da educação superior no Brasil: renúncia do Estado e privatização do público

Abstract

This article tries to analyse the changes in Brasilian higher education. Due to the changes in the production, the reform of the State, the restriction (and deregulamentation) of public sphere and the expansion of private sphere, in the context of the transition from Fordism to the current world capitalism, those changes confer clear market values to the identity of research and teaching institutions.
