Cuarentena, exilio y regreso: viaje, memoria y transición democrática en el cine documental argentino
Abstract
This work is interested in tackling the representation of the itinerary of the return to the origin’s land of the political exiled people taking into account the movie Quarantine (Carlos Echeverria, 1984). Through the analysis of the formal, narrative and stylistics procedures, we decide to observe the problem of the protagonist subject, the design of his return travel and his non-unitary memory, as a part of the symbolic process of the “homecoming”, as much in his individual dimension incarnated in the figure of the exiled person –in this case Osvaldo Bayer-, as long as in his collective dimension since the reinstallation of democratic order.
