Monitoring the variation of the potentiometric surface of an aquifer is a fundamental activity to understand the hydrodynamic behavior of the aquifer. The Abreu e Lima Refinery, as established in the EIA / RIMA, has been monitoring the water table in seven monitoring wells in the domains of its facilities since May 2009. Unfortunately, this monitoring was not continuous, mainly because some wells were damaged, but the volume of information obtained was substantial, especially in the two years of automatic monitoring, with hourly recording of water levels. The water level variation data, compared with the rainfall data, showed that the level of the water in the aquifer is closely linked to the rainfall regime, with very fast responses, with the rain peak lagged at twelve hours of the rise of the water in the well. An analysis was also made of the variations of the static levels with the variations of the hydraulic conductivity of the aquifer determined by Slug test. The oscillations of the water levels were between 2.0 and 5.0 meters
