This work analyzed the profile of cyclists who use the cycle lanes and cycle tracks in the city of Maringá, their motivation to adopt the bicycle as a means of transportation and their opinions for improvement actions. A formal structured interview was conducted with 51 cyclists, most men between 21 and 50 years old, who use the bike to go and return from work and perform sports and leisure practices. For most respondents, the construction of more bike lanes and cycle tracks would result in greater adoption of bicycle and use of the cycle-road mesh in the city.
