A Research on Birds of Süloğlu Dam Lake and Environment (Edirne)
Abstract
This study was performed in an around Süloğlu Dam Lake located 2.5 km far away from Süloğlu, a district settled 36 km northeast of Edirne province. The results of 30 days of observations between October 2012 and September 2013 were evaluated and a total of 101 bird species were determined. The regional status of determined species, as well as their protection and breeding status were given as a table. The problems concerning the study area and the birds species present and solution offers to these problems were discussed.
