L’avènement d’une « histoire au second degré »
Abstract
The aim of these pages is to outline a non exhaustive reconstitution of half century of historiography work, in France, from 1940 to 1990. Historiography has not yet turned to its own history. Only a history of the historiography historians could provide the knowledge of its gradual and progressive transformation, of the transposed obstacles, of the directions taken in different moments and now abandoned. And mostly, the fact that historiography, in France, is only well accepted after its justification being legitimized by other previously well accepted research fields
