Electrochemical direct conversion of 1-aminoalkylphosphonates into novel heteroaromatic compounds has been studied and described. Cyclicvoltametry analysis showed that 1-aminoalkylphosphonate was oxidized in the anode, followed by removing the phosphoryl group, giving the novel heteroaromatic compound. The structure of the compound was characterized by HRMS and NMR analysis.
