The term “hydatid disease” refers to a group of illnesses brought on by the larvae of Echinococcus granulosus, commonly referred to as the dog tapeworm or hyper tapeworm. The liver and lungs are the organs most frequently involved in hydatid disease. Pulmonary hydatidosis poses a surgical and anesthetic problem because it might manifest as a cystic mass near heart tissue. Large hydatid cysts can also induce compression and pressure consequences, such as arrhythmias, and they can even burst on their own and cause hemoptysis, coughing, and chest pain. We are discussing the effective treatment of a big pulmonary hydatid cyst that was near cardiac tissues.
