Amicitia monastica. Introductory remarks
Abstract
This work retraces some salient aspects of the research presented in this section, with particular reference to the monastic resistence to the theme of amicitia and to the difficulty in using its lexicon to describe relationships within the religious communities. Mention is also made of the possibility of using this theme to compare value systems that were alternative yet both present in early medieval society.
