Abstrak Pembatasan mobilitas dalam penanganan Covid-19 berdampak pada penurunan kinerja sektor bisnis di Indonesia. Namun berdasarkan kontribusinya terhadap Produk Domestik Bruto, perbedaan yang kontradiktif antara subsektor Hotel, Restoran dan Pariwisata dengan Food and Beverage yang belum diteliti secara pasti apakah perbedaan tersebut tercemin dalam kinerja keuangannya. Fokus penelitian adalah untuk mengidentifikasi dan menganalisis perbedaan kinerja keuangan antara kedua subsektor tersebut selama periode waktu yang terpengaruh oleh pandemi. Dalam penelitian ini, kinerja diukur melalui variabel kinerja keuangan yang terdiri dari ROE (Return On Equity ),EPS ( Earning per Share) , CR (Current Ratio), DER (Debt to Equity Ratio) , dan PBV (Price Book Value) . Dengan metode yaitu deskriptif metode studi komparatif, menggunakan data sampel dari periode 2019 hingga 2021.Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan adanya perbedaan dalam kinerja keuangan antara sektor Hotel, Restoran, dan Pariwisata dengan sektor food and beverage. Variabel ROE (Return on Equity), EPS (Earnings per Share), dan PBV (Price-to-Book Value) memiliki perbedaan yang signifikan antara kedua sektor . Namun, temuan penelitian mengindikasikan adanya perbedaan signifikan pada CR dan DER antara kedua sector adalah tidak ada . Informasi ini dapat digunakan untuk memahami karakteristik keuangan dan potensi perbedaan dalam hal profitabilitas dan valuasi antara kedua sektor tersebut. Abstract The restrictions on mobility imposed to handle the The virus known as COVID-19 has resulted in a notable decline in the performance of Indonesia's business sector. Nonetheless, the extent of this impact can be assessed by analyzing their respective contributions to the country's GDP, the contradictory differences between the Hotel, Restaurant and Tourism and Food and Beverage sub-sectors have not been examined with certainty whether these differences are reflected in their financial results. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to compare the financial performance of the Hotel, Restaurant and Tourism sub-sector with Food and Beverage during pandemic. Performance variables in this study use financial performance ratios proxied by Return On Equity (ROE), Earning per Share (EPS), Current Ratio (CR), Debt to Equity Ratio (DER), and Price Book Value (PBV). In this research, a descriptive strategy in conjunction with a comparative analysis of samples spanning from 2019 to 2021 is employed. The results of this study indicate that there are differences in financial performance between the hotel, restaurant and The tourism industry and the food and beverage sector. The variables ROE (Return on Equity), EPS (Earnings per Share), and PBV (Price-to-Book Value) have significant differences between the two sectors. However, the results of the research demonstrate there is none significant difference in the Current Ratio and DER variables between the two sectors. This data can be utilized to comprehend or gain insights into the.the financial characteristics and potential differences in profitability and valuation between the two sectors.
