Abstract

This article presents some problems for the development of "silver economy", which means an economic activity aimed at meeting the needs arising from the process of demographic aging. It is presented in a general way the main areas and determinants of this phenomenon in the context of the country's economic development, with a particular focus on small and medium-sized enterprises.
