<p>Irresponsible arms transfers, the illicit manufacturer and the use jeopardize human rights. Thus, it is important that future Arms Trade Treaty, to be concluded next year, addresses serious challenges related to arms transfers, such as the likeliness of these arms to be used to commit serious violations of human rights. For this purpose, this article will analyze the participation of arms manufacturers in the negotiation process taking into account the recent developments on international accountability of corporations regarding human rights.</p>
