Topical Issues of Modern Medical Care of Children of School Age in Ukraine
Abstract
Article discusses the development of principles for the distribution of students into medical groups for physical education by assessing their physical health and adaptive capabilities. The substantiation of the new methodology and methods of distribution of students into groups for physical exercise, taking into account the level of health and physical performance, is provided. It is found that the greatest accuracy and informativity has a quantitative technique of rapid assessment of physical health of children and adolescents by G.L. Apanasenko which enables at prehospital stage to conduct primary screening with measurement of the level of the individual pupil’s health and not the presence or absence of acute or chronic diseases or developmental defects. It is proved that health level by G.L. Apanasenko has a good correlation with indicators of the functional status and adaptation to physical activity of children and adolescents. It is proposed to use the technique of quantitative rapid assessment of physical health of children and adolescents by G.L. Apanasenko as a criterion for allocating students into groups for physical exercises and to implement the use of this technology in practice.
