Aim. The purpose of the study is to identify new elements of soybean cultivation to improve its technology. An overview of the currently existing technologies for soybean cultivation from traditional to innovative, including zero (No-Till) or strip (Strip-Till) tillage, as well as a “reasonable” technology that eliminates most of the operations, which provides significant savings in fuels and lubricants compared to traditional is provided. But a comparative analysis showed that unconventional technologies application with obtaining positive results is possible only on highly cultivated soils. Conclusion: conducted analytical studies have shown that the introduction of innovations into the elements of soybean cultivation technology is determined, first of all, by its variety and then by the method of irrigation, as well as by the availability of climatic and soil resources. Elements of technology also vary depending on the state of the material and technical and labor resources in economic entities and the receipt of a predetermined (planned) soybean yield.
