Information and Analytical Activities of the National Law Library of V. I. Vernadsky National Library of Ukraine during Wartime

The article is devoted to the consideration and generalization of the topics and for mats of presenting the results of the informational analytical activities of the National Law Library of V. I. Vernadsky National Library of Ukraine, which were formed and transformed under the influence of the course of a full-scale war on the territory of our country as a result of the aggression of the Russian Federation against Ukraine. The key directions of this activity were revealed, data were systematized regarding the thematic content of information projects of the National Law Library, in particular, specialized bulletins on specific issues, which are developed on the basis of monitoring, accumulation, analytical processing and systematization materials of documentary and information resources and social media. Emphasis is placed on the criteria for selecting the topics to be covered, which is based on the need to effectively ensure citizens’ constitutional right to information, and the means of its coverage (referencing, quantitative and qualitative analysis, visualization, analytical processing). Library and information products and services in the field of socio-legal information were produced based on the set goals, namely ensuring accumulation in libraries collections and effective access to informational, analytical and navigational resources which could help observe functioning of Ukrainian legal system under the martial law, protection of human rights, the international position of Ukraine in wartime. In the informational analytical work of the National Law Library on the basis of monitoring, accumulation, analytical processing and systematization of information, the following thematic directions were determined: expert evaluations of law making processes in Ukraine; problems and prospects of refugees and internally displaced persons; political and legal aspects of the constitutional process under the martial law; foreign mass media regarding the positioning of Ukraine in international political and legal processes.
