Odontomata. Adamantine madness
Abstract
A literature review on odontomata is made, being them the most frequent maxillary tumors. They have a high incidence in children and adolescents. The most frequent chief complaint is the eruption failure of a permanent tooth, either with or without persistence of the temporal one. The most recent immunohistochemical discoveries have explained the histogenesis of this disesase, whose treatment is always surgical.
