In recent years there has been an intense interest in corporate social responsibility (CSR). This idea is associated mainly with corporations, whose activities sometimes include health promotion. However, CSR can be successfully used by health care units such as multi-specialty hospitals or medical networks. The purpose of this article is to present entities that successfully implement corporate social responsibility policies. Another aim of the authors is to confront the activities of the aforementioned entities with the Polish law, which limits the promotion in the health sector. The article summarizes the main benefits of implementing CSR policies by treatment providers on the example of specialized hospitals. Subsequently, the authors confronted this with the provisions of Polish law, taking into account the reservations concerning the promotion in medical entities. Due to the popularity and the futuristic nature of the issue, the final part of the article discusses the practices that should be included in Polish medical institutions.
