Wıts Appraısal

Abstract

The Wits appraisals have been statistically investigated on the cephalometric films of 165 girls and 165 boys. As a result of Student’s t test, a significant difference has been observed between sexes. Furthermore, the relationships between the Wits appraisal and some other measurements have also been studied. Although it has been observed to be a significant relationship between the ANB angle and Wits appraisal, it has been found that the Wits appraisal was less effected by the other measurements than was the ANB angle.
