Ortopteroid insects (Insecta, Orthopteroidea) of the Tasotkel water reservoir area (Kazakhstan)

Abstract

The article gives a full annotated list of orthopteroid insects of the neighborhood of the Tasotkel water reservoir in the Zhambyl region in the south of Kazakhstan. A total of 85 species of orthopteryoid insects were identified, belonging to 69 genera from 15 families and 5 orders. Praying mantises (Mantodea) are represented by 3 families, 7 genera and 7 species; Cockroaches (Blattodea) - 2 families, 2 genera, 2 species; Earwigs (Dermaptera) - 3 families, 3 genera and 3 species; Stick insects (Phasmoptera) - 1 family, 1 genera, 1 species; Orthopterans (Orthoptera) - 7 families, 55 genera and 72 species.
