3D-DESIGN OF THE TOURIST MAPS

Abstract

Modern map designe is heavily influenced by the achievements in computer graphics software development. 3D symbols are widely used now in different maps. Such symbols are used very often in the design of various tourist maps. Our research is devoted to the design of the library of 3D symbols used for compilation and design of the Tourist Atlas of Europe.
